Loft conversion
This former junk loft has been converted into a luxury home gym on one side, and a teenage bedroom on the other. This design has a luxurious look due to the minimalist color palette and the built-in LED lighting. The latter also provides a diffused light, which has a serene appearance.
The challenge of this design was to get light on the south side of the attic, while this side of the roof is completely covered with solar panels. To get sunlight on this side of the attic, two mezzanines have been made.
One mezzanine is accessible from the fitness room and serves as a meditation room. The other is a chill area near the teenage room. The translucent wall in these mezzanines ensures that daylight can penetrate the entire space.
